This pair of boots was one of four items that I purchased recently as I’m new to Munro footwear. I’m in need of better shoes and read that these are very good and had hoped they could help with my recent diagnosis of a neuroma in my left foot due to high arches. Generally, I normally wear a size 8 1/2 shoe and tend towards boots which are more rounded toe versus pointed. I actually stay away from very pointed toe shoes. in these boots, I had to go up to a nine to get a comfortable fit with hosiery in a medium width, the W widths were all too big. Normally I can wear light socks with most size 8 1/2 and I’m 9 M, just Leggs knee highs. The heels in these feel snug on the sides. They are nice looking though. And the right color in chestnut. Again I wish the width was just an 1:8 wider. The heel height is perfect. If you don’t have wide feet, size up a half size esp if you want to wear a sock.
