Beautiful Well FItting Chelsea Boot

This is a really amazing boot. Ordered the brown smooth leather, it's a beautiful, high quality. The inside of the boot is extremely comfortable, no seams that rub. The elastic insert at the side provides the comfortable give needed when flexing your foot.. Normally wear a size 9W, I ordered a 9WW. It is just slightly longer and wider than needed but will be perfect with socks and possibly a thin insert. I will order it in 8.5W now.

Ankle area is too wide

I wanted to love these since my old Elliott boots fit beautifully. These are well made, but they’re too wide around the top of the foot and the lower ankle. There was a similar issue with some Munro loafers I bought this year - the instep felt overly wide for some reason. I still love Munro and hope to find another shoe of theirs that doesn’t have this issue.
